My name is Steve Evans.
I’ve been working online since 1995, across numerous sectors and disciplines, but have now landed in the world of risk, insurance, reinsurance and insurance-linked securities (ILS) for my day job as an owner of two leading global B2B publications.
I’m also passionate about the web, new technology, design, usability and customer experience.
Hence I try to combine the two just as often as I can, acting as an advisor, mentor and also investing in some tech start-ups, while having fun tracking the trends that will develop interesting start-ups of the future.

B2B publishing should never be about the publisher or the journalists who write for it. Users & industry always come first.
This also explains my interest and work in technology start-ups that solve human problems, or that add real-world efficiency through elegant design solutions to real issues.
